Q&A session:
I think the idea of a Q&A session would occasionally provide an enjoyable variation in the format of our meetings. So, please think of questions you would like to discuss, and let me know. There may be bible verses that are hard to understand, or objections to belief that our non-believing friends may raise, or personal questions that you would like to share.
If these questions are significant, please suggest them as individual topics for future Friday meetings, but there are many minor questions which we could look at more briefly in Q&A sessions.

Verses:
Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
2 Cor 12:9, ‘And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”’
Question:
A popular definition states: Grace is getting something we do not deserve, Mercy is not getting what we do deserve.
God’s unmerited favour on us is easy to see in the gift of salvation, but 2 Cor 12:9 also points to an ongoing transformation.
Question: What does grace mean to you, what is your experience of God’s grace, and how do we respond to that gift.
