What does the bible say about the departed spirits of those who have died? I know that trying to communicate with the departed is a dangerous path to be avoided. But the experience of certain inexplicable things happening to me and others has left me wondering if departed loved ones may reach out to reassure and encourage those of us who are left behind?

What would have happened (in eternity) if the ambulance had not arrived until 5 minutes later, and had found me dead?

Will there be different rewards in heaven?

2 Corinthians 12:7, “… in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.”

What was Paul indicating by “a thorn in my flesh”?

We can see great wealth in many churches. The value of property is enormous, with huge sums invested in cathedrals and other beautiful buildings.

How do we reconcile that with the simple message of the gospel? Are they to the glory of God or the glory of Man?

Ecclesiastes 8:12-13, “12 Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. 13 But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”No bible verse needed

We read in the bible about God’s loving kindness, and His deep compassion for humanity

So, how does Fear enter the picture?
