The Kingdom of Heaven

Matthew 4:17, From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Matthew 5:3, Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:10, Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:20, For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 8:11, I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 10:7-8, As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’  Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Matthew 13:33, He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

Matthew 18:3-4, And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Kingdom of God

Mark 1:15, “The time has come,”he [Jesus] said. “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!”

Mark 9:47, And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,

Mark 10:15, I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Mark 14:25, “I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.”

Luke 9:27, I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

Luke 10:9, Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’

Luke 13:20-21, Again he asked, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

Luke 13:28-29, There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God.

Luke 17:20-21, Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”

Luke 22:15-18, And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” 17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. 18 For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

John 3:3-5, In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’” 4 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

1 Corinthians 15:49-53, And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven. 50 I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

Heaven

Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 6:17, I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.

Genesis 15:5, He took him outside and said, “Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

Genesis 28:12, He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

Genesis 28:17, He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”

Exodus 16:4, Then the LORD said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions.

Exodus 20:4, You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

Deuteronomy 26:15, Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.”

1 Kings 8:27, But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!

2 Kings 2:1, When the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.

2 Kings 2:11, As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

2 Chronicles 30:27, The priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place.

Psalm 14:2, The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

Isaiah 24:21, In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below.

Isaiah 34:4, All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.

Isaiah 65:17, Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth.The former things will not be remembered,nor will they come to mind.

Isaiah 66:22, “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the LORD, “so will your name and descendants endure.

Matthew 6:9, “This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,  Matthew 6:10 your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 16:19, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew 24:35, Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Mark 16:19, After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.

Luke 18:22, When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

John 3:13, No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.

John 6:51, I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

Acts 3:21, He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.

2 Corinthians 5:1-2, Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.  Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling,

Ephesians 1:10, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

Philippians 3:14, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:20, But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Peter 1:4, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you,

2 Peter 3:10, But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

2 Peter 3:13, But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

Revelation 19:1, After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,”

Revelation 21:1, Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

Revelation 21:2, I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

Revelation 21:5, Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
