About this site

This website is to be used as a reference for our group. It’s intended to save time that would otherwise be spent on organising the group, so we can talk of more important things.

Privacy: Access to the site content requires the user to be logged in. After you have logged in once, future viewings should recognise your device and not require a password each time.

Password: Initially, all users will have the same password, but you can change this to individual passwords. To list you as an individual user, I need an individual email address.

The sections for the site are:

Next meeting:

The verse for the following week will be given at the end of each meeting, but people who are away can find it here, as well as any other items of note.

Prayer:

A reminder of current prayer items for our group.

Reflections:

If you are going to be away, but would like to share your response to our bible verse, then it can be saved here. Just email your notes to me.

If people would like to have a record of what was shared in the meeting, or if there is more detail than time allows for sharing, then it can be recorded here for viewing by the group.

WhatsApp:

I have set up a WhatsApp group for us, to make it easier to communicate with the whole group at once; this is especially useful for urgent prayer requests, or notifications of absence, and follow up discussion from the meeting. This button will take you to WhatsApp.

Links:

When you find material you would like to share with the group, place it here for us all to see. YouTube links by people such as Prof. John Lennox are a good example. Just email the link to me.

Guidelines:

This is a checklist of what makes discussion go smoothly, to help us avoid “putting our foot in our mouth”.

 Contact:

That lists my contact details to make it easy to phone or email, but it also has a messaging function within the website.
